Indoor Games for Family Game Night
Below is a list of fun indoor games that are great for the family game night.
1) Frank’s Zoo (Ages 10+)
This card game is for 4-7 players and ages 10 and up.
If you can’t find it at local retailer, here is a link to it on Amazon.

2) Spot it! (Ages 7+)
This unique game comes with small round cards and is good for family members aged 7 and up.
Because of its compact size it is a great game to bring with you camping.

3) 5 Second Rule (Age 10+)
This is one of Ellen’s favorite games. Check out this funny video below where she plays against Will Smith.

4) Phase 10 Card Game (Age 7+)
Its a card game (similar to Rummy) that is for 2-6 players. (Plus you can get Phase 10 Dice game….more info further below.)

5) Phase 10 DICE Game
There is also a Phase 10 Dice game. My sister’s family really likes this one.
You can see it in the picture below.
Unfortunately the only one I could find on Amazon was almost $90…so check your local stores.

6) Blokus (Ages 7+)
This easy to learn, block-based game can be enjoyed by the family.
Each game session is fairly quick, yet can be repeated over and over for hours of fun.

7) Trekking National Parks (Ages 10+)
This board game is for ages 10+ and has won Parent’s Choice awards for board games.
It is very well-rated on Amazon (currently 4.7 stars out of 5) and has lots of customer ratings and reviews.

8) Catan (Ages 10+) [formerly called “Settlers of Catan”]
This popular board games about building up civilizations is for ages 10+ and for 3 to 4 players.
In this 5th edition (or version) of the game, the name was changed from “Settlers of Catan” to simply “Catan”.

This is a fun blocks (tiles) style game for 2-4 players and for ages 6 and up.

This game is for ages 10 and up, and can have a variable number of players, but a general consensus is that its best for four or more players.

A little while ago I checked out a camping forum and its suggested list of indoor camping games.
Repeatedly the folks in the forum mentioned Mexican Train.
It is a popular dominoes game.

14) Sequence (Ages 7+)
Here is another well-loved board game that currently has a crazy-high rating on Amazon.
It currently is rated 4.9 stars out of 5 with over 6,800 customer ratings on Amazon.
(That may be the highest rating I’ve ever seen for a product with that many customer ratings.)
It is for 2 to 12 players.

Here is a cool card game that your family will love. It is for 2 to 6 players.

16) Exploding Kittens: A Card Game (Ages 7+)
Here is a very unique, creative, out-there game that you can play with your whole family.
You can get an “adult-only” version, but here is the kid-friendly version available on Amazon.
